Klear Gummy™ Anhydrous Gelatin Base

Klear Gummy™ is an anhydrous gelatin base that is ideal for troches, gummies, and chew-type prescriptions. It allows for easy compounding of water-unstable APIs and applications with an unknown drug stability. This base has a slightly translucent appearance with mild to no taste or odor and is derived from naturally sourced ingredients. It features a relatively low working temperature when heated, allowing it to form a pourable solution that stabilizes to a gelatin matrix when cooled. Additionally, it offers excellent API load capacity and extended beyond-use dating (BUD) per USP <795>. Klear Gummy™ is formulated with our Bitter-Bloc™ Technology for optimal palatability and can easily be sweetened and flavored to preference. Free of dye, gluten, sugar, PEG and parabens.
